eu.connectedthings.store is run by Sensational Systems Europe B.V. We're a Dutch company and we're registered for Belasting Toegevoegde Waarde (BTW) (also known as Value Added Tax or VAT). We have to charge BTW to some but not all of our customers. VAT is complicated(!), so here's a quick guide to who has to pay BTW and who doesn't.
We charge VAT to:
- All Dutch customers, individuals or companies
- All EU-based customers who aren't VAT registered
We DON'T charge BTW to:
- EU companies that provide a valid VAT number during checkout
(our system will automatically remove VAT when you give a valid VAT number)
